What is The Center for Global Studies?

Study Abroad

The Tusculum College Study Abroad program was initiated in the early 1990's with regular trips to Costa Rica.

The program expanded first through a partnership with Universida Latina in Costa Rica and next through inclusion in the Business Education Initiative (BEI) started by U.S. Presbyterians and Catholics.

The opportunities for Tusculum students to study abroad were further expanded through the ACA London program.

And in 2002, a study abroad program in Belize was developed in conjunction with the Presbytery USA.

Today, the Center for Global Studies continues to expand the vision of studying abroad to provide international exposure for Tusculum College students.

The Center's mission is to enhance the capacity of individuals and organizations to address local and global challenges through building relationships with communities, institutions of higher learning and organizations globally.
